This car turned up in an advert from Yesterdaycars in Qvesarum (between Hörby and Höör in Skåne, Sweden) during the winter 2006. Since our interest in Chrysler, the man and his company, had grown we decided that we wanted this car. So we drove over to visit Lena and Mikael Persson at Yesterdaycars, and inspected the car. It was in a good condition so we made a deal. A few days later the car was parked outside our house!

The summer of 2006 was very warm and sunny in Sweden, perfect for a convertible car. This car had only 31,000 miles on the meter, so it feels almost as new. However, since it was 42 years old and had some scratches we felt it deserved a new paint (same pale blue colour). There were only 633 Imperial Crown convertible made in 1965. Some 15-20 are still thought to be in drivable condition. As far as we know, there are three 1965 imperial Crown convertible in Sweden. Of these, only two are in drivable condition.

We've managed to list all previous owner of both this convertible as well as the green HT. We've had some mail contact with the last owner of the convertible. This has given us valuable information about the car and it's history back in the USA.

If you scroll down on this page, you'll find some technical data regarding the car. Also, we've added som photos of the car. You'll find more photos if you look at "Gallery" section in the menu to the left. There you'll find larger photos as well.
